Day 2 of the Tape. Paper. Scissor. challenge was a step up on scale! The focus today was helping her see how she can utilize her tools to do more. For example, the blue washi tape is not just a tape to hold pieces together, it can have other uses.
The project started with her desire to build a two story paper house and things just kept growing from there. The end result? A paper city with population of two: Paper Doll and pet Paper Elephant!
This project has really taken things to a whole new level and in the process, I've come to learn that my role as a parent is to focus on harnessing the creativity and imagination while developing skills needed to bring creativity to life. It's a wonderful learning process and I can't wait to keep exploring with her!
