With school being out and no camps planned, my girls are home tearing down the house. The only quiet time around here is when they're engaged in building things.
Out of boredom, my six year old created a matching purse for herself and her sister using white printer paper. It was 45 minutes of quietness and gave me the idea of kicking off a five-day challenge of paper crafting using just washi tape, paper and scissor. I'll be challenging the kids to create something out of the materials provided everyday for the next five days. If they're stuck, I'll provide a theme topic but the goal is to have them come up with the idea and flex their creativity under limited resources.
If you're looking to keep the kiddos busy, you might want to try this at home. Highly recommended!
I'll be blogging about how the projects progress and please feel free to share your project pictures as well. Happy Making~
