Handmade lip balm is super easy to make and even fun for kids!
This project only requires three ingredients and I chose a round cosmetic container since I planned to use it on my hands. All the ingredients and materials required can be found on Amazon (*Affiliate Links) :
To make the lip balm, mix all three ingredients together and melt them in a hot pot or microwave. The ratio between Beeswax (acts as the hardening agent) and Coconut Oil was 1:2 and just a few drops of Vitamin E oil should be sufficient. In my case, I poured everything into a crockpot and used high heat to melt the content. It took about 25 minutes for the Beeswax to liquify. Once in liquid form, pour oil into plastic container and content will begin to harden in just a few minutes. Leave it for a few hours to completely harden.
Since I had some white label stickers, my daughter and I got creative and made personalized labels for each container. This was the best part of the project!
